- Zain Al Rafeea is an actor, known for Capharnaüm (2018). Zain was a Syrian refugee when he was discovered in the streets of Beirut by director Nadine Labaki. At the time, his life shared similarities with that of his character of the same name. He and his family have since been resettled in Norway.

Odai Al Mukdad is a Syrian-American filmmaker. Odai was born and raised in Daraa, Syria. Immigrated to the US in 2012 to pursue his dream in filmmaking.
Odai attended Orange Coast College for film and graduated in 2017. Odai produced, directed and co-wrote his first short film Love Is Blind. Love Is Blind also won Prix Du Jury award for disability awareness and was screened at Palais Des Festival Et Des Congrès.
Odai produced, directed and wrote many other short films and his most recent short film The Dice Player was officially selected at Lift-Off Global Network Sessions 2023.- Antoinette Najib was born on 20 February 1930 in Daraa, Syria. She was an actress, known for Khatoon (2016), Tareeq (2018) and Cherry Messages (2015). She was married to Youssef Choueiri. She died on 17 August 2022 in Damascus, Syria.
